Omg the class sucked so much wei..

cos I have recently somehow pulled my hip flexor doing the Lilac fairy variation last saturday, my mood the whole week was really bad, and I didn't exactly prepare my jazz class very well. When it came to my turn doing jumps, wow... haha, I was the suckiest teacher out of the 4 ppl who chose to teach jazz.

I just gave really simple and boring enchainments (read in french) and do a lot of super simple stuff from the corner and didn't even say anything, not a word.. haha! Its so not what teachers do. If I had a teacher like that I'll fall asleep in class man.. I can't be a teacher this way. Well actually I'm pretty sure I can teach, but when 95% of the ppl in the room are older than you, you can't exactly have the guts to give out strict instructions and corrections as if you know it best. I mean, I'm the worst student in class, how can someone like me give corrections to ppl?

But drama was fun today because our drama teacher had some other job to do so we got this replacement guy who's so cool and so nice. He let us play games the whole class =D And the games were all super fun. Like..

The first game we played was the common drama game: the one where you choose one person in the room as your angel, another person as your devil, and you have to stay as close as possible to your angel but stay really far away from your devil, and the class usually ends up in swirls. Always happens.

The second game was .. can't remember what it was called.. killer or something. Starts off with everyone walking randomly around the room, then when the teacher calls out someone's name, they're the killer. The person who has the role of the killer has to hold out his/her weapon, which is just one arm extended in front. The killer uses the weapon to touch someone and that person dies, then the killer becomes a serial killer. And no running. BUT the potential victim can call out another person's name, and when that happens, the person whose name was called out immediately becomes the next killer. Game goes on until 2 people are left. Pretty fun game =) I always die before the last 7 people.

Then the third game was the most fun. Half of us split into two groups, one stand in a line on one side, one on the other, and pairs that stand opposite each other take turns to play. One stands on one end of the room, the other on the other end. The person on one end tries to catch the other and not let him/her pass, and the other tries to sneak pass, but all of this goes on with closed eyes so we have to use our senses to be able to get through this game, then when the game is over, the two people have to swap roles. It was so fun seeing how everyone's style is. Haha! Everyone's style is seriously different its so funny. Well I was very silent, according to Ella (my opponent), the teacher and another classmate, but my teacher said at the start I suddenly stuck my arms out at the sides like a crane XD Its pretty cool to see how people can really react if someone is close to them. I can't really explain, you have to have a go at the game yourself.

The fourth game was like "What's the time Mr Wolf?", if you've ever played it. Well the "wolf" stands at one end of the room and has something he/she owns which is placed right behind them, and everyone else is at the other end of the room. Then when the game starts, we have to creep up and try to take his/her stuff away, but the "wolf" will turn around to look, and if that happens, everyone has to freeze or that person will have to start at the start of the line again. Pretty fun, I always use Sam to block me whenever I get caught moving and have to start over.

The fifth game was.. haha. We all stood around in a circle, everyone had equal space between them, then everyone takes off something they own and place it in front of them. Teacher starts off in the center, and has to say what he experienced before himself that everyone has (its the point to get a spot, sorta like musical chairs) in the form of: "Everyone moves who has [experienced, e.g. shoplifted]". When someone else has the same experience, they run and try to find another spot (stand at the back of someone else's stuff) but you can't run to the spot right beside you, has to be one spot after the least. We found out pretty interesting stuff about some people, haha, like Phoebe having a crush on someone in the room (which I suspect is David, I mean, who else.. pretty obvious how those two are acting towards each other XP), Renata, Leo and Sam have shoplifted, etc.

Ohyeah, there was one more game we played...omg that makes 6 games. haha! So free.. well the games called "Big Booty", and it'll take a long time to explain the game, but it was tricky, it tests your concentration and focus.

That's about it. I woke up late today so I missed out on classical class. hehe
